At Visionary Solutions, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our mobile application, Smart Typer, handles your information during your use of the application.

1. Local Storage and Data Privacy

Smart Typer is designed as a secure, local-first note-taking and productivity utility. All text files, folders, blog drafts, and templates that you create or modify within the app are saved directly to your device's internal storage. Visionary Solutions does not host, access, or upload your local documents to external servers.

2. Information Collection and Processing

To provide advanced text and audio processing features, Smart Typer securely processes data in the following ways:

• Voice Input and Dictation: When using the voice typing function, your voice is converted to text using native system speech-to-text engines. If offline voice typing is disabled, text processing is performed online by secure speech APIs.
• AI Text Correction: When you request grammar checks, tone adjustments, or spelling corrections, the selected text block is sent securely via HTTPS to our AI processing API. This text is processed instantly to return the corrected version and is not retained on external servers.
• Language Translation: Text translation queries are transmitted securely to Google Translate or Microsoft Translator APIs depending on your selected translator provider settings.
• Wikipedia Integration: Query searches retrieve public Wikipedia API data securely to display definitions and summaries inside the workspace.

3. Permissions Used by the Application

To function correctly, the application requires the following key permissions on your device:

• All Files Access (Storage): Required to organize files, create folders, read/write notes, and package ZIP backups to your storage.
• Audio / Microphone Access: Required to enable speech recognition, voice typing, and dictation capabilities.
• System Alert Window (Overlay): Required for the Floating Widget overlay, enabling you to use text tools on top of other applications.

4. Third-Party Services

Smart Typer integrates with trusted third-party APIs to deliver specialized functionalities, including:

• Google Translation Services
• Microsoft Translator Services
• Wikipedia API

These services handle your transmission data in accordance with their respective security policies and use it strictly to fulfill the immediate processing requests.

5. Data Security

All data transmitted outside the application for API operations (such as translation, AI correction, or Wikipedia search) is encrypted using industry-standard HTTPS protocol. Your configuration preferences, custom Voice Dictionary maps, and settings are saved securely on your local device.

6. Children's Privacy

Smart Typer does not collect or request personal information from children under the age of 13. Because all user notes and documents remain entirely on the local device, we do not store personal profiles or identify individuals.

7. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be made available by updating the policy page linked within the application.
